( Figs 50–55 ) Type material. Holotype female, paratypes 2 females , CHINA : Hainan Province , Ledong County , Mt Jianfeng , 18°42’N , 108°48’E , 15 December 2003 , M. S. Zhu and J. X. Zhang leg. ( MHBU ). Diagnosis. A. ledongensis sp. nov. resembles A . yajuni sp. nov. in the shape of its vulva, but can be distinguished by the shorter atrium and by the basal stalks of its lateral receptacula being as long as diameter of its receptacula ( Figs 53–55 ). Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality. Description. Female ( holotype ). Total length (including chelicerae) 17.91. Carapace 4.95 long, 5.49 wide; abdomen 9.00 long, 5.94 wide. Carapace reddish brown, with black margins and dark lines on pars cephalica. Eye region occupying nearly one­third of width of pars cephalica. Both eye rows recurved, anterior eye row narrower than posterior one. Eye diameters: AME 0.33, ALE 0.25, PME 0.18, PLE 0.25. Distances AME–AME 0.24, AME–ALE 0.18, PME–PME 0.95, PME–PLE 0.04. MOA 0.58 long, front width 0.90, back width 1.27. Fovea transverse, straight, occupying about 1/5 of carapace width at that point. Chelicerae reddish brown, with 11 teeth on promargin. Labium wider than long. Anterior lobe of coxa of pedipalp reddish brown, with many cuspules on inner margins and on inner half of ventral surface. Sternum reddish brown, 3.42 long, 3.60 wide. Legs dark yellow brown. Metatarsus IV with nine dorsal spines. Leg formula: 1423. Vulva ( Figs 53–55 ): atrium short, pore patches bulbous, receptacula attached to anterior edge of atrium, median pair with very short basal stalks, lateral pair with basal stalks almost equal in diameter of receptacula. Male. Unknown. Variation. Size range of mature females: carapace length 4.68–4.95, width 5.04–5.49, total length 17.82–17.91, n=3. Habitat. Found in pursewebs attached to the base of tung trees.
