( Figs 9 , 18 ) Diagnosis. Thorax with 6 strong dc and 8 pairs of acr. Legs mainly yellow except mid and hind coxae black. Surstylus with enlarged and bifurcated apex, ventral branch enlarged toward tip, with 3 peg-like apical bristles. Cercus digitiform, yellow basally but brown at apical 5/6. Hypandrium and phallus 1.5 times as long as epandrium. Descriptions. Male ( Fig. 9 ). Body length 4.5 mm , wing length 4.2 mm . Head metallic green with greyish pollinosity. Vertex slightly sunken. Hairs and bristles black including middle and lower postocular bristles and posteroventral hairs. One short vt, prominent ocellar tubercle with 1 strong oc. Antenna black except venter of scape yellow. Scape elongated. Postpedicel short, nearly as long as wide, triangular, blunt apically, with black dorsal arista-like stylus 3/5 as long as head width. Proboscis black with black hairs; palpus black with black bristles. Thorax metallic green with greyish pollinosity. With 6 strong dc and 8 pairs of acr; 2 pairs of sc, of which basal pair weak hair-like, apical pair strong. Legs mainly yellow except mid and hind coxae black. Hairs and bristles mainly black. Fore coxa with some dorsal bristles, 1 outer pale bristle and 2 preapical spinous pale bristles. Mid coxa with row of long, thin pale dorsal bristles. Hind coxa with 1 outer bristle at middle. Fore femur without distinct bristle, with row of 5 pale, long (2.0 times as long as width of fore femur) spinous ventral bristles. Mid femur without distinct bristle. Hind femur with 1 weak preapical av. Fore and mid tibiae without distinct bristles. Hind tibia with row of short spinous ad. Relative length ratio of tibiae and tarsomeres: LI 3.0:?:?:?:?:?; LII 4.3:?:?:?:?:?; LIII 6.5:?:?:?:?:? (tarsi all lost). Wing hyaline, veins dark brown. Crossvein dm-cu nearly straight, CuAx ratio 0.8. Lower calypter pale with pale hairs. Halter pale. Abdomen metallic green. Hairs and bristles on abdomen black. Hypopygium ( Fig. 18 ): Epandrium slightly longer than wide in lateral view; epandrial lobe square, narrowed at tip, with 2 weak apical bristles. Surstylus with enlarged and bifurcated apex, ventral branch enlarged toward tip, with 3 peg-like apical bristles; dorsal branch wider than ventral branch, with 3 long, pale apical bristles and 3 short apical bristles. Cercus digitiform, yellow basally, brown at apical 5/6, with long pale sparse marginal bristles ventrally and dense marginal bristles dorsally. Hypandrium simple, 1.5 times as long as epandrium; phallus hidden in hypandrium, simple. Female. Unknown Type material. HOLOTYPE , labeled: China . Tibet : Qamdo , Markam , Zewo [ N29°54′06″ E98°27′59″ ], 3508 m , 2013. VII.5 , sweep nets, Xiaoyan Liu (CAU). Distribution. China ( Tibet ). Remarks. The holotype was collected when sweeping bushes along mountain trails. The new species is similar to S. arctus from Taiwan ( China ), but with black mid and hind coxae plus an unornamented hypandrium. In the latter species, the legs are wholly yellow and the hypandrium is lobately expanded apically ( Becker 1922 ). Etymology. The species is named after the type locality.
