Type material examined. Hybalus demoflysi : holotype , male: “Sidi Tabet, II.39 , R. Démoflys ” ( MNHN ) , paratypes : 1 male and 1 female with the same data ( CJBH ). The types of H. servulus are not available for examination (Synda Kheder, per- sonal communication) therefore we follow Baraud’s interpretation of this species. The photographs of the specimens from the Normand’s collection, provided by Synda Kheder, support this interpretation. Additional material examined. Tunisia : Beja , Djebba, W . Esser 26.3.13 , 2 males ( ZIN ). This species was described from Fondouk-Djedid and known also from Sidi Tabet, Djebba, Teboursouk Pass and El Kef ( Fig. 2 ). Record from Radès ( Baraud 1991 ) belongs to H. bellmanni new species .
