This is the first record of
M. olivacei
from
Costa
Rica
. Our specimens differ from the original description of
M. olivacei
by setal counts and dimensions, as follows [data from Price
et al.
(2005) are in parentheses]:

Metanotum with 9–10 (10) marginal setae Tergal setae: I, 8–9 (11); III,
