Colouration simple, nearly concolorous grey or brownish, markings regular, often faint. Male brush organ present. In the male genitalia, uncus long and narrow; cucullus rounded triangular with moderately elongate “neck”; ampulla elongate, often slightly falcate. Since the genital capsule of the different members of the group is very similar, the pectination of antennae appears as important specific character.
