Dry forest meadows on stony slopes in the upper Komarnica valley (Durmitor, Montenegro ). Diagnosis. Intermediate between L. punctatissima Bosc, 1892 and L. laticauda (Frivaldsky, 1867) . The differences to these closely related species are summarised in a tabular key ( Tab. 1 ). Description. Male. Pronotum ( Fig. 1 F) short, anterior margin slightly, posterior margin distinctly raised. Tegmina ( Fig. 1 F) short, rounded, not reaching posterior margin of first abdominal tergite. Stridulatory file ( Fig. 1 H–I) with over 70 very small and faint teeth. Cerci ( Fig. 1 K) stout, slightly constricted in circa middle of length, curved before apex and suddenly narrowed into apical tooth. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 1 J) broad at base, with distinct narrow apical part; apex slightly excised. Female. Pronotum ( Fig. 1 G) short, anterior and posterior margins faintly raised. Tegmina ( Fig. 1 G) rounded, reaching about middle of first abdominal tergite. Cerci short, stout, constricted before apex, interior margin substraight, exterior margin convex. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 1 M) small, transverse-triangular with apex rounded. Ovipositor ( Fig. 1 L) sickle-shaped, apex finely dentate. Coloration. Green with reddish black dots. Two yellowish white dorso-lateral bands on vertex, discus of pronotum and lateral field of tegmina. Abdomen with a reddish brown dorso-median band and a small black spot on both sides of the median band at the base of some tergites. FIGURE 1.
