. Without exopod on maxilliped 3.
Adult male
. Bases of pereopods 1–4 greatly expanded, bases of exopods on pereopods 1–4 expanded.
Remarks
.
Paradiastylis
and
Dimorphostylis
can only be reliably separated by the maxilliped 3 exopod, absent in
Paradiastylis
females and present in
Dimorphostylis
females. If females are not present, it may not be possible to differentiate between the two genera.
