Material examined : Type series: FMC; holotype female, Liberia , six miles north of Kpain, backwater area of a stream, 7.xi.1957 (Coll. 79), Cook. No further specimens known. General features : Dorsal shield oval (L/W ratio 1.1–1.2), with medial depression; muscle scars anterior and posterior to the postocularia, with weakly pronounced thickenings ( Fig. 7A ); colour pattern unknown; gnathosomal bay Y-shaped; tips of Cx-I ending posterior to frontal margin; medial margin of Cx-IV comparatively well developed; Cx-IV with a few, short longitudinal striae. Palp ( Fig. 7C ): P-1 with a dorsal seta; P-2 with concave ventral and convex dorsal margin; P-3 slender, ventral margin with a basal kink, distally straight; P-4 very slender, ventral margin concave. Legs: I-L ( Fig. 7D ) with I-L-6 L/H ratio 3.0; IV-L: Fig. 7E . Discussion : Differences brought out in the key will distinguish this species from all others. Male unknown. Distribution : Liberia .
