Remarks.
Currently, 11 species are known in this genus in
East Asia
(
World Spider Catalog 2022
). This genus can be distinguished from other gnaphosids by the presence of a conspicuous, hook-like, retrolateral sclerotized spine on the male palpal femur (
Kamura 1999
). Three

have been recorded in the Ryukyu Islands, namely:
