Kubekius multiramosus Khramov, 2017 : 64 (by original designation) ( Russia ) ( Middle Jurassic ) . Comments. Based on a single forewing, Kubekius is distinguished by the paucity of crossveins, especially the lack of any gradate series in the radial field. Only Sinosmylus is similar in this lack of radial crossveins, although this genus retains two gradate series. According to Khramov (2017) the absence of crossveins gradates series in the wing of Kubekius , plus the straight branches of RP are evidence of a primitive state. However, the highly pectinate CuP differs from that found in Archeosmylidae . At present, Kubekius cannot be assigned to any of known subfamilies of Osmylidae .
