Redescription: Forewing length 13 mm . Adults reddish purple, speckled with black scales. Forewing with costa dull creamish; a medial fuscous line, slightly sinuous; a postmedial fuscous line, oblique from subapical region of costa to postmedial area of inner margin. Hindwing with inner area fiery orange; an antemedial and a postmedial line from below costa to inner margin. Male genitalia with uncus broad tongue shape; gnathos broadest at middle, slightly hooked at tip; tegumen broad, shouldered; valvae tongue shaped, narrower, slightly curved, fibula with tip pointed; saccus u shape; vesica with a narrow cornutus. Remarks: Morphologically, Lixa productalis , the type species of Lixa , ( Figs 5 , 9–10 ), is generically similar to T. rubriceps , type species of Toccolosida ( Figs 3 , 11–13 ). These two species have no significant difference that can support their placement in different genera. Therefore, Lixa Walker, 1866 is synonymised with Toccolosida , and its type species is newly combined as Toccolosida productalis (Walker) , comb. nov. Distribution. Malaysia ( Walker 1866 ).
