Comments.
Diaphorina continua
is morphologically similar to
D. chobauti
Puton, 1898
(
Burckhardt 1984
)
. The taxonomic status of both species is uncertain and needs to be reviewed (Burckhardt, unpublished data). Study of more material including adults, immatures and additional host information from the entire Mediterranean Basin are needed to resolve the taxonomy of these species.
