This species occupies very distinct habitats, including springs, permanent and semi-permanent ponds, and littoral areas of rivers up to
147 m
asl. The first record for
Tunisia
is reported by
Ferrari (1884)
in southern
Tunisia
(Tamerza, Gébli) under the name
Corixa atomaria
Illiger, 1807
.
