- Eyes not especially bulbous with narrow crescent-shaped photoreceptor fields. Head only as long as first 3.5 pereonites combined, with rounded rostrum. Gnathopods with spoon-shaped carpus. Pereopods 3 and 4 longer than P5, with very slender articles. Pereopods 5 and 6 with relatively broad, paddle-like, articles.................
