This species ranges from Cape Breton Island to western Alaska, south to northwestern California, south-central Colorado, northern Kansas, southeastern Louisiana (East Baton Rouge Parish, Igor M. Sokolov pers. comm. 2009), northern Alabama, and northern Georgia [see Maddison 1993: Fig. 273]. The records from "Florida," "Arkansas," and "Texas" (Hayward 1897: 44) are probably in error. Records.
