Remarks. Goemans (2016) provided evidence that the species belongs to Zammaralna after finding the holotype .The three tarsal segments, wing venation pattern, and infuscation pattern in the fore wings suggested the species should be in Zammaralna ( Goemans 2016 ) . The generic reassignment was made official recently ( Sanborn 2020d ). Distribution. The species has been reported previously from several countries based on misidentification of taxa ( Goemans 2016 ). Goemans (2016) showed the species was known from Guyana and Venezuela . Nunes et al . (2023) illustrate a specimen from northern Brazil and added the species to the Brazilian cicada fauna.
