Notes: —Species of this group, including also A. cinnamomeum Lellinger & J.Prado and A. gracile Fée , both from Brazil , were treated by Lellinger & Prado (2001) ; these species are a small subset of the much larger A. tetraphyllum clade-2-pinnate species with copiously scaly rachises, numerous (per pinna) relatively small, short pinnules, and short-creeping rhizomes. Pinnules are relatively small, ca. 2 times longer than wide, with 35–55 pairs per pinna, yellow rounded glands present abaxially.
