( Figs. 2–3 , 5 ) The new species is related to Z. khorasanica and Z. minjanensis and differs from them in the stem height ( 25–40 cm vs. 80–120 or 30–80 cm ) and diameter at base ( 2–3 mm vs. 5–10 or 7–9 mm ), shape of the sheaths (linear-lanceolate vs. slightly enlarged at base), leaf blade size, primary segments of the leaves (nearly sessile vs. petiolate), length of terminal segments of the leaves ( 2–4 mm vs. 4–5 or 4–7 mm ), and umbel size (up to 5 cm vs. 6–10 or up to 15 cm ). Type :— IRAN , Mazandaran Province , 6 km S from Los , Siah Sang Mountain , gravelly slope near mountain top, alt. 3390 m a.s.l. , 36.251390° N , 51.827847° E , 26 June 2019 , Lyskov 156-IR-19 ( MW barcode MW0595771 ) . Perennial herbaceous plant with vertical several times branching taproot 15–20 mm ⌀, glabrous ( Fig. 2 ). Stems 25–40 cm tall, 2–3 mm ⌀ at base, several (2–3), erect, fistular, corymbose, covered with soft remains of sheaths and older leaves, rounded, in nodes slightly arcuate, branching several times in upper part. Basal leaves in rosette, petioles 5–12 cm , valleculate, solid with linear-lanceolate sheath; leaf blades 7–9 cm long 3–4 cm wide, elongateobovate, tripinnate, primary segments nearly sessile; terminal segments 2–4 mm long, obovate, deeply dissected with 1–3 serratures. Cauline leaves scanty, simplified, lower leaves pinnate with short petiole and short enlarged sheath; uppermost cauline leaves reduced to obovate white-marginated sheath with mucro.
