. Several adults and chicks re- corded foraging in the grasslands of PTC during all seasons. We recorded this species in systematic and nonsystematic observations since the beginning of our study.
Identification.
Unmistakable. Often in groups. Long and powerful legs, small head. Three toes. Plumage is gray with black around the neck and head. Males are darker than females
