This species belongs to hospes section, but the brown head with a long neck-like constriction behind the eyes, and abdominal tergites pale without any sculpture ( Figs 3 , 40 ), are different from other members of that section. Specimens examined. China , Guizhou , Tongren City , Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve , 2 females from Euscaphis japonica and 1 female from bamboo, 11.viii.2017 (Yajin Li); Anlong County , Xianheping National Forest Park, 1 female from Setaria plicata , 31.viii.2016 (Xueqiang Yan).
