Heinrich (1937) formally transferred this species to Tricholabus Thomson, 1894 , although Claude Morley had already reidentified this as a species of Tricholabus in December 1915 , as in Figure 17 (a) (unpublished data). Moreover, Uchida (1940a) also transferred Ichneumon incanescens to Tricholabus strigatorius ( Gravenhorst, 1829 ) , as a subspecies. Current taxonomy.
