Distribution.
Xenomystax congroides
is being reported by the first time in the WSA. It was described from off
Suriname
, and was also known from the Atlantic coast of Florida,
USA
, throughout the Gulf of
Mexico
and Caribbean to the mouth of the Amazon, in the northern coast of
Brazil
(
Smith 1989b
).
