Special Remarks
: It was found in the streams of Siang River.It has rough tubercles, prominent on snout &lower jaw.Barbels were absent and snout was deeply humped. Lateral line scales were incomplete and ceases at the 35th scale. Dorsal fin extends to 3rd ray of Anal. Scales were large, cycloid and with oval spots at the dorsal side & diamond shaped spots at the ventral surface and lateral line scales with single large spots and a few bilobed spots. Two broad bands were present with 'V' shaped on each side, behind gill opening.
