A benthic species found in lakes and ponds and rice fields in spring and autumn (localities S19, S22, S29, S32, S35, A14, A15, A34). The first record for Central China . I. yooni prefers shallow vegetated littoral zone ( Jeong et al. 2012 ). The species was recorded from Far East of Russia , Japan , Korea and North China ( Jeong et al . 2012 ), Hainan Island (Sinev et al. 2015) and mountainous regions of Malaysian Borneo ( Sinev & Yusoff 2015 ).
