Typical Guyano-Amazonian element, present in Bolivia , Peru , Ecuador , Colombia , Venezuela , Suriname , French Guiana , Guyana , and Brazil . In Venezuela , widespread in Amazonas and Bolívar States, also occurs in one disjunct area of Apure State ( Barrio et al. 2001 ). Remarks : Bufo anderssoni Melin, 1941 was shown to be a junior synonym of Rhaebo guttatus (Barrio-Amorós and Castroviejo-Fisher 2008a) .
