Bactericera
sp. 2 is characterised by the head bearing genal processes, by the thickened antennal segment 3, by the long, narrow and apically pointed forewing, and by the male proctiger bearing narrow posterior lobes. It shares the shape of the forewing and male proctiger with the West Palaearctic
B. dracunculi
Loginova
,
B. horrida
(Loginova)
and
B. petiolata
(Loginova)
. It differs from the first in the presence of genal processes and a straighter paramere, from the second in the apically less tapered paramere, the slightly longer female proctiger and the apically truncate female subgenital plate, and from the third in the thickened antennal segment 3, the relatively straight paramere and the larger apical inflation of the distal segment of the aedeagus.
Bactericera
sp. 2 represents probably an undescribed species. Without reliable host information and immatures a formal description is not justified.
