Castro & Naruse (2014) clarified the identity of the specimens that have been reported with doubt by various authors over the years as “ Latreillopsis cornuta ” (cf. Edmondson, 1951 ; Guinot & Richer de Forges 1995 ; Castro 2011 ), and recognised them as a distinct species, L. okala .
