, was transferred to
Torridoharpinia
Barnard and Karaman, 1982
; both genera differ principally in the aspect of the epimeron 3 and the telson setae.
Torridoharpinia hurleyi
is easily distinguished from the only other species of the genus (
T. tropicana
J.L. Barnard, 1960
) by the epimeron 3 and article 2 of peraeopod 7.
