This species is unique in the genus by having more than 10 posteromarginal setae on abdominal sternites III to VI (
Fig. 216
). According to
Mound & Masumoto (2005)
, females have 6 posteromarginal setae on abdominal sternite VII and the male has narrow transverse pore plates on sternites III to V, but in the specimens studied here females have 7 or 8 posteromarginal setae on sternite VII and a male has pore plates on sternites III to VII (

). This species is distributed in
