Pseudacteon rudisetosus Disney et Michailovskaya ( Figs. 10A–F , 25A–B ) Pseudacteon rudisetosus Disney et Michailovskaya, 2000: 38 . Diagnosis. Female. Apical seta shorter than maximum width of palpus; fore tarsomere 5 as long as fore tarsomere 1; setal palisade 1/2 length of mid tibia; setulae below basal half of hind femur shorter than those of anteroventral row of outer half; tergite VI reduced to narrow anterior strip in middle, but each lateral quarter with 1–3 setulae each side; sternite VI short, broad, with a pair of strong, widely spaced setae; dorsum of oviscape comprising an irregular lateral row of about 6 small setulae each side. FIGURES 10A–F. Pseudacteon rudisetosus Disney et Michailovskaya , female. A. head, anterior view; B. wing, dorsal view; C. fore tarsus, posterior view; D. mid tibia, posterior view; E. hind femur, anterior view; F. ovipositor, ventral view. Scale bar = 0.1mm. Female. Frons ( Fig. 10A ) brown, with 26–30 setulae. Supra-antennal setae as strong as adjacent frontal setae, upper pair being higher on frons than lower fronto-orbital setae. Lower interfrontal seta directly under lower frontoorbital seta, and as high as/or slightly lower on frons than lower supra-antennal setae. Second row of frontal setae concave, with all four setae equally distanced. Flagellomere 1 brown and subglobose. Palpus pale yellowish brown, with 5 long setae, apical one longer than maximum width of palpus. Labrum pale brown and labium pale yellow. Thorax brown. Scutellum with two pairs of setae, posterior twice length of anterior. Legs pale brown to brown. Ratios of lengths of fore tarsomeres about 0.97: 0.67: 0.64: 0.61: 1, with all five bearing a setal palisade ( Fig. 10C ). Setal palisade extends 1/2 (0.65) length along mid tibia ( Fig. 10D ). Setae below basal half of hind femur shorter than those of anteroventral row of outer half ( Fig. 10E ). Wing ( Fig. 10B ) length 0.95–0.97 mm , width 0.48–0.49 mm , width/length 0.51. Costal index 0.40–0.42. Costal ratios 1.58–1.75: 1. Costal cilia 0.04–0.06 mm long. Alula with 2–3 setae. Veins brown, thin veins being gray. Membrane pale brownish gray. Haltere brown, but parts of knob variably pale. Abdomen brown. Tergite VI reduced to a narrow strip in middle, but each lateral quarter bears 1–3 setulae each side ( Fig. 25A ). Sternite VI short but broad, well defined, with a pair of strong, widely spaced setae at rear margin and 1–2 small setulae posterolaterally ( Fig. 25B ). The dorsum of the oviscape comprising an irregular lateral row of about 6 small setulae each side ( Fig. 10F ). Distribution. China ( Jilin , Liaoning , Gansu ), Russia . FIGURES 11A–F. Pseudacteon formicarum (Verrall) , female. A. head, anterior view; B. wing, dorsal view; C. fore tarsus, posterior view; D. mid tibia, posterior view; E. hind femur, anterior view; F. ovipositor, ventral view. Scale bar = 0.1mm. The species is similar to the female of P. pullum Michailovskaya, 1995 , it differs from the latter by shorter setae of palpus, band-form of sternite VI and less setulae of oviscape.
