Diagnosis.
The forewing pattern is similar to that of
F. forficatella
Meyrick
, but
F. m o r i u t i i
is larger than
F. forficatella
. The male genitalia have easily separable characteristics: the valva without median protrusion on the ventral margin; the median lobe of the juxta stouter with shorter apical arms; and cornuti of the aedeagus longer. The female is as yet unknown.
