Description.
For a description of both sexes see
Azarkina (2009)
. Palpal organ as in
Fig. 45A, B
.
Distribution.
Hitherto known from western Africa, recorded from
Cameroon
,
Ivory Coast
and
Nigeria
. This is the first record from southern Africa.
Remarks.
The single male specimen recorded has a palpal morphology most similar to
Saraina deltshevi
Azarkina, 2009
, particularly the dorsally directed dorsal tibial apophysis, but differs slightly in the position of the ventral and medial apophyses, which are in the same plane in lateral view (
Fig. 45B
), whereas the medial apophysis of
S. deltshevi
is slightly more proximally placed on the tibia (
Azarkina 2009
: fig. 3). However, we refrain from describing this as a new species until the female can be discovered.
