Material examined . Solomon Islands : SALOMONBOA, stn. CP 2804, 09°14.16’S 161°19.85’E , 150–175 m , 17 September 2007 : 1 male (6.8 x 4.7 mm ) ( MNHN-B31305 ) . Remarks . This species, described from the South China Sea ( Dai & Chen 1980 ) was subsequently recorded from Japan , the Philippines and Indonesia ( Guinot & Richer de Forges 1995 ). The present record from the Solomons extends its distribution. Richer de Forges & Ng (2007: 31 , Fig. 1D ) provided a colour photograph of L. tetraspinosa showing a pattern very different from that of L. bispinosa or L. marivenae Richer de Forges & Ng 2007 .
