Distribution.
Newportia pusilla
has been reported from the West Indies (
Saint Vincent
) and South America (
Venezuela
and
Brazil
). It was also doubtfully recorded from
Cuba
and
Colombia
by
Schileyko and Minelli (1998)
. We now confirm its occurrence in the Andean Región of
Colombia
.
