Namib Sand Sea desert ( Seely 2012 ); Namibia ( Pitzalis et al. 2014 ) . Bologna (2000a) recorded one damaged specimen, possibly referable to this species, also from the Brandberg massif. Remarks . Types of this species were not examined, but specimens compared with them were studied at HMNH. This species is very isolated among the Meogorgatus - type lineages because of the slightly widened intermediate antennomeres, which in male resembles those of Ceroctis female.
