Remarks
.
L. rugosipes
is particularly characterized by the head extremely strongly tuberculate, pronotum strongly tuberculate and toothed, particularly between the transverse sulci, with comparatively low, arcuate crest, in the metazona roughly serrated; abdominal tergites with short, acute apical teeth (
Dirsh 1958
). The two specimens above listed are respectively the 2
nd
and the 3
rd
records of this South African species, being only known from the female
holotype
, collected at Transvaal, not far from Barberton and Pretoria.
