Normally among algae (red and brown), and on a variety of habitats as fine mud, clay, fine sand, broken shells, shell associated with foraminiferans and hydroids, seagrass flats, gorgonians, on polychaete sand reefs, and dead coral ( Christoffersen 1982 ; Almeida et al. 2007 b , 2012). Remarks. Previously recorded as Rhynchocyclus parvulus Stimpson ( Ríos & Carvacho 1982 ) and as Concordia gibberosus Kingsley ( Kingsley 1880 ; De Grave & Fransen 2011 ). Might become a junior synonym of Latreutes antiborealis Holthuis due to the close relationship between these two species ( Carvacho & Ríos 1982 ; Ríos & Carvacho 1982 ). Previous records in Sergipe .
