The DNA sequence of COI barcode region taken from a paratype is deposited in GenBank. The Accession Number is provided in Table 1 . This species was included in the phylogenetic analysis by Vilkamaa et al . (2018) as Pseudoaerumnosa sp. 2. Description . Male. Head . Brown, antenna slightly paler than face, maxillary palpus pale brown. Eye bridge 2–3 facets wide. Face with 3–7 dark long setae. Clypeus non-setose. Mouthparts strongly reduced. Maxillary palpus with one segment; with 1 pointed seta, with a large dorsal patch of sensilla. Antenna short, antennal flagellomeres laterally flattened, asymmetrical in relation to their necks, frontal part larger; densely setose, setae curved, body of 4th flagellomere 1.65–1.9x as long as wide, the longest setae much shorter than the width of the flagellomere, the neck shorter than wide. Thorax . Brown and unicolorous; setae dark. Anterior pronotum with 2–4 setae. Proepisternum with 3–5 setae. Wing , Fig. 2 B . Fumose. Length 1.5–1.8 mm . Width/length 0.55–0.60. Anal lobe rather large. Hind margin with dorsal setae only. Veins distinct. R1/R 2.20–2.50. c/w 0.55–0.85. bM longer than r-m, stM longer than M-fork. stCu longer than bM. R5 joining c at about base of M-fork. R1 with dorsal and ventral setae, bM, r-m and StCu non-setose. Haltere pale brown. Legs . Pale brown. Fore tibial organ unmodified, with some slender setae. Fore tibial spur longer than the tibial width. Abdomen . Pale brown; setae long, dark, and robust. Hypopygium, Figs 10 B , 11 D . Brown, like the abdomen. Gonocoxa longer than gonostylus. Gonocoxae fused, intergonocoxal area broad and short, microtrichose and setose, ventromedial margin roundish and distinct. Setosity of gonocoxa long, slightly shorter at medial margin, microtrichose only basally and basolaterally. Apicomedial seta differentiated. Gonostylus elongated, strongly impressed medially, with a large apical tooth with a small megaseta attached to its ventral side, with 3 megasetae in medial excavation, partly hidden in the excavation, the middle megaseta on a large basal body, megasetae curved and hyalinous. Tegmen with distinct apicolateral corners, with an apical broad finger-like process, process sclerotized apically, tegmen with tiny aedeagal teeth. Aedeagal apodeme narrow, with distinct apical fork. Female . Unknown. Discussion. See under Pseudoaerumnosa cryptoloba sp. n. Etymology. The name is Latin, eminula , projecting, referring to the projecting finger-like process of the tegmen.
