Ecology.
The only Portuguese specimen was collected in a pine forest with
Acacia
spp.
,
Arbutus unedo

Quercus
spp.
and
Castanea sativa

). In northwestern Europe, it clearly prefers mature moderately humid deciduous forests (
Pollet 2000
).
