P . de Queiroz et al. 9747 ( holotype : HUEFS !; isotypes : K !, RB !) . Emended description: —Multi-stemmed shrub, densely branched from the base. Leaves 7–17 × 2–6 mm , elliptic, length/width ratio 3:1, margin irregularly crenulate, the crenulae more spaced basally and closer distally, ca. 90° to the branch. Panicles ca. 70-flowered (based on the pedicel scars along the racemose axes). Flowers without filamentous external staminodes or these irregularly appearing in some flowers of the same individual; anthers bi-apiculate. Specimens examined:— BRAZIL .
