Remarks A lectotype is designated here to give a diagnostic reference for the species. Other material examined AUSTRALIA : WA ( 2 ♂ , 1 ♀ ), NT ( 1 ♂ ) . Colour Body dark brown to black, carinae, clypeus and pronotum paler, frons lateral with a white mark; legs light to mid brown; forewing hyaline colourless with brown marks along crossveins, veins light brown, tubercles dark brown (contrasting with veins), pterostigma mid to dark brown; abdominal sternites mid brown. Head: Vertex (total length) 1.2–1.6 times longer than wide; basal emargination obtusely angled. Postclypeus with well­developed median carina. Rostrum reaching hind coxae. Thorax: Hind margin of pronotum obtusely angled. Mesonotum with evanescent or well­developed carinae. Forewing 3.5–3.8 times longer than wide; costa with 8–16 tubercles; 9 apical cells. Male genitalia: Anal tube as in Figs 37I–K ; pygophore and genital styles as in Figs 37L–M . Aedeagus ( Figs 37N–O ): Phallotheca with an almost straight, slender, not hookshaped spine (a) directed ventrad arising ventrally below midlength; a short spine (b) arising ventrally below midlength; a medium sized spine (c) right lateral; a medium sized spine (d); and a very short spine (e) dorsal. Flagellum partly sclerotised, with two large, flattened spines.
