Comments.
The only known species is represented by a well-preserved basal half of a forewing. The genus was originally not assigned to any family of
Neuroptera (
Ponomarenko
et al.
, 2014
)
, although it was compared with subfamilies of
Osmylidae
. The venation in general is typical for
Osmylidae
except some character states, which are not characteristic of the family, i.e., the proximal branches of RP, MA and MP are deeply forked. We consider these conditions as autapomorphies of the genus. The venation is in general most comparable to that of
Kempyninae
.
