Comments
Examination of the
holotype
clearly shows that this species is identical to
Oedothorax fuscus
(Blackwall, 1834)
and thus
Erigone marina
becomes a junior synonym of that species. Koch’s drawing of the epigyne (
Fig. 4
) is somewhat confusing but shows clearly the two typical curved lateral folds as in
Fig. 5
