Taxonomic Note.
One species (
Bembidion longipenne
Putzeys) from Venezuela is currently included in this subgenus but is probably not consubgeneric with members of
Diplocampa
.
Bembidion hesperus
Crotch, described from the Azores and listed in this subgenus by Lorenz (2005: 223), is a junior synonym of
Bembidion ambiguum
Dejean (Lindroth 1960b: 6), a species of the subgenus
Neja
Motschulsky.
