. This species was described from both sexes from
Coccothraustes coccothraustes
(Linnaeus) (Fringillidae)
in
Poland

). No other records since the original description. A record of this species from
Fringilla coelebs
from
Poland
(
Skoracki
et al
. 2004
) belongs actually to
H. johnstoni
sp. nov.
