Collection localities in New Brunswick, Canada of Gyrophaena uteana . Collection and habitat data. Gyrophaena uteana from New Brunswick was collected in mixed forests and a silver maple swamp. Adults were collected from polypore fungi, on fresh gilled mushrooms, on a small (fresh) gilled mushroom on a log, and from a Pleurotus sp. on a dead, standing trembling aspen ( Populus tremuloides Michx.). Adults were collected during June, July, August, and September. Distribution in Canada and Alaska. BC, QC, NB ( Klimaszewski et al. 2009b ).
