Males of this species are defined by tergum 9 having two sclerotized humps posteriorly and the epiproct being blade–shaped in lateral view. Females of this species are defined by sternum 8 with a median membranous area flanked by two dark brown patches on each side ( Fig. 7 in Kimmins 1947 ; Figs. 596 598 in Zhiltzova 2003 ).
