Oval, rather inflated shell; stepped whorl profile with canaliculate suture; crescent-shaped aperture; 2 ascending columellar folds; no trace of parietal fold; barely incised spiral grooves, more closely spaced towards the base. Protoconch: heterostophic, coaxially immersed; rather globose; 1 visibile whorl; diameter about 310 µm; surface smooth; transition to the teleoconch marked by a simple orthocline lip. Remarks . A single juvenile and partially broken specimen was at hand. The present specimen exhibits some resemblance with R. gianninii Nordsieck, 1974 ; however, its juvenile stage and poor preservation hinder a reliable assignment to species. Occurrence . Box-corer sample BC72 (1 specimen). Height: 1.5 mm . Fossil record. None recorded.
