Glabrous perennial herbs, up to
22 cm
, with several simple, glaucous, pruinose stems. Basal leaves entire, usually spatulate somewhat oblong with long petiole, forming loose rosettes, beneath papillate, ca. 12–35(70) × 5–10(15) mm; cauline leaves entire, amplexicaul, obtusely auriculate at base, lanceolate, ca. 6–20(35) × 2.5–8(12) mm, apex obtuse. Racemes simple, compact, ca.
3–15 cm
long, ca. 9–53(80) flowered, congested, elongated in fruit, pedicels horizontally spreading to ascending, to ca.
6 mm
in flower, to ca. 11(13) mm in fruit. Sepals greenish, hairy at outside, ca. 3–4.5 ×

. with whitish membranous margin. Petals ca. 5–8 × 1.5(2) mm, white. Filaments ca. (1.2)
