Remarks.
Only one, more than one hundred years old record (
Agram
,
11 Mai 1900
) of this species was known from
Croatia
(
Klapálek 1912
, under the name
Dictyogenus ventralis
(=
Besdolus ventralis
), see
Zwick & Weinzierl 1995
). However, based on unpublished results of Aleksandar Popijač, this species is common in some rivers of the country (Aleksandar Popijač and Ignac Sivec, pers. comm.).
